Manchester city centre corporate and commercial law
firm Lopian Wagner has bolstered its team with the
appointment of a civil litigation specialist and a
practice manager. This boost to the headcount forms
part of an aggressive recruitment programme by the
firm, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
Kate Baker, 27, from Devon, has joined Lopian Wagner’s
three strong commercial litigation team. Kate graduated
from The University of Lincoln in 2001, before continuing
her journey further up North to Cheshire law firm
Chafes. In her role at Lopian Wagner, Kate will be
working across the full gamut of commercial litigation,
specialising in property disputes and breach of contract.
A keen golfer, Kate is as focused and driven out of
the office as she is in!
New practice manager, Andrea Coulding, 41, from Hyde,
brings extensive experience in practice management
with a career history spanning over 22 years’
working with law firms. She comes to Lopian Wagner
from a position as practice manager at Jackson’s
law firm and has built a reputation in the sector
for running a well oiled operation. In her role at
Lopian Wagner, Andrea will be responsible for accounts
and HR , as well as the general smooth running of
everything from practice certificates to office services.
Co-founding partner of the law firm, Anthony Wagner,

With these new additions to the team Lopian Wagner
offers the professional services and collective expertise
of four partners and two associate partners and a
